Greetings. Well, here I am, happily employed. I wish that I had something to complain about...But I don't.

This evening really summed things up for me. I started out on an evening run, it's 78 degrees. I stopped an talked to a couple that live at the entrance to Las Palmas (where I live). I haven't talked to them in 2 or 3 weeks, so I told them that I am finally employed. Bob asked me "are there pretty girls there?" I answered yes. He then asked "do you get free food?" I again answered yes (I've had a free lunch the last 2 days). He then asked if it could get any better than that...He was right. After I was done talking to them, I'm jogging down the road, the direction that sun had just disappeared, I could see the Sierra Madres about 80 miles to the west, blanketed by a scarlet sky(I keep thinking I'm going to bring my camera)...It's just funny how things can seem so bleak for you one day, and a week later things could seem so good (not perfect, far from perfect, but very, very good).

It's been very chilly the past couple of mornings (down in the 40's). I'm still running in shorts and a T-shirt (and a stocking cap). Today is the first day that I've run in the evening as well as the morning.

I don't have much else to say, I guess I'm glad that the elections are over.

I'll write again soon

Be good everybody

Good morning! Well, I am writing this before I go to work, Yes, work. Actual work! Friday at about 4:45, I received a phone call offering me the position with the Chamber of Commerce. Of course I accepted, and I'm starting today!

It's been a good past few days, I subbed on Friday. Kids were in costume & doing silly things. I had 6 or 7 boys who came dressed in drag...Very funny to watch them play with their breasts.

Good day of NFL football yesterday...Cowboys won, my Chargers won (Broncos lost too, so the Chargers are tied for the lead in their division).

I really think that I'm going to enjoy this job. The way I am looking at it, is it took me over a year to get a job, so it must be a great one!

Still very hot down here (93 degrees yesterday), but we are supposed to be having a change tonight...Maybe some 70 & 60 degree high temperatures for the next few days.

Well, I'm going to need to get going here in the next few minutes. Maybe I'll be updating my Blog more often (how many times have I said that?)

Be good everybody
